Self-quarantine? No problem.
What’s better than the standard Netflix and chill? Netflix and chilling in a cozy DIY living room theater. The best part is it doesn’t have to cost you a penny to enjoy this seemingly luxurious date night setup.
My wife and I had a lot of fun creating this living room theater. Since we don’t expect any guests to come over for a while, we thought, “Why not?” All we had to do was push our two couches together, throw some of our coziest sheets and pillows on top, and voilà! Taking it a step further, we added warm lights around the area and our fur babies’ beds in the appropriate spots.
For couples that are looking for easy and fun mini-projects to do with your boo during these trying times, this is one of them. This is the perfect time to take your binge-watching setup to the next level. And yeah, we know you have a lot of shows to catch up on!
Furthermore, there are an abundance of additional customizations you can do to your setup. For example, add a canopy above to enclose your space even further and add to the coziness. Or, find some string lights to add to the tops of the backs of the couches to add to the romantic vibes. The options are endless when it comes to the customization of your cozy living room theater.
Try it out and show us your cozy living room theaters! If you happen to be on Instagram, tag us your cozy theaters at @SquareCurves.
As always, please stay safe during this time everyone. Stay indoors, wash your hands regularly and keep being creative! We hope to be able to go out and shoot with you all soon!
Best,
Matt Gillette
